STROKE PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT

This day delivers practical and fun education around the topic of stroke and atrial fibrillation (AF), whilst also looking at what they are and they matter. 
We demystify stroke and mini strokes, clarifying the primary care role in prevention and management. Finding AF is a massive part of stroke prevention and doing simple things can well support this, so we explain the the why the how and then the what of preventing strokes in primary care. The day is aided with memorable demonstrations, including the not to be missed “clotting chef” who helps clarify the various drugs used to prevent clots.
